The bedtime tag!

I've been nominated to do the bedtime tag by the lovely Rebecca Marie. This is where everyone will find out how awful definitely amazing my sleeping habits are!. As I absolutely love sleep more than I love chicken nugget (is that even possible?), this may be my favourite tag!.


Describe your bedtime routine

Oh god, don't judge me here - I'll take off my make up with the aloe cleanser and toner at around 10pm, Then I'll jump into my bed put on Prison break for about 5 hours and then fall asleep after a hour or so on my phone. Not the best routine I know and I am going to try and make it a little more sleep friendly, maybe after I've finished  the series though.

What are your favourite pyjamas?.

I honestly never wear pyjamas, If it's absolutely freezing outside I might wear some pyjama bottoms and a vest but I generally like to not feel suffocated by clothes in my sleep.

What is your current bed time read?

If I'm being 100% honest, I don't really read like that and it isn't because I don't like to read because I do but it's just finding the time; also it doesn't tend to make me tired because I get so hooked so I' probobaly avoid it at night for that reason

What would I find on your bedside table?.

A load of crap. No seriously though. You'd find all of my make up In my acrylic draws, My aloe cleanser and toner, My simple light moisturiser, a plant, some candles (gotta have candles), my laptop when I'm finished at night with it, my phone, my glasses, a bag of doritos possibly. I'm really organised I promise.

What scent makes you sleepy?.

Ooh, this is a hard one, I'd have to say lavender and definitely vanilla, which Is weird because I own nothing lavender. However, I do find that If I have a lavender or vanilla candle burning I just go into so much relaxation.

What is your usual bed time / wake time.

Well, most recently my sleeping pattern has been awful, like really awful. I'm talking go sleep at 3am and wake up at 2pm.. whoops. Sometimes my sleeping pattern will get to this stage and it does take a while for me to get back into a normal routine which I am trying to do currently.

What are your top 3 bedtime products?.

For sure my aloe cleanser and toner from the body shop and my simple kind to skin light moisturiser.

What is your current sleeping position?.

It changes a lot but atm I just tend to curl up and steal all the duvet and space off my boyfriend (sorry Jamie).

What do you like to take to bed to you?


I always take snacks with me; I know don't eat in bed blah blah. But, I watch films and TV series in bed; snacking Is inevitable

What Is your worst bed time habit?.

TV, using my phone, using my laptop, snacking etc. I suck at bedtime routines!.

    1. I'm glad someone else can relate!. I'm hoping to better my habits; perhaps no technology an hour before bed or not take snacks to bed to improve my sleeping pattern - hopefully it lasts!
